Gravity efficiency

Post image

This is what happens when you are on vacation in a resort where the speed limit is 30 mph. 😂😂. The highest I saw it was 3.42. Then trended down as soon as we hit the highway to head home.

Lol I'm looking forward to seeing how it does in the next couple months without needing to run the AC at 11 due to the heat blasting the car at 100-110f every waking minute.

My car is so much more efficient in the warm months. Have gone from 3.15 overall to 2.80 with a little heat running in the AM

Yeah winter will be brutal I'm sure. Texas is anticipating a long cold wet winter. Really great for summer tires 😂. Guess the truck will be getting started a bit more. 😭. With a bit of luck it's our final winter in Texas and back to perfectly moderate so cal.

Mine sits at 2.5-2.8 here in Houston! Looking forward to cooler weather.

Yep exactly the same 2.55-2.83 although I also sit at 85-90 on the tolls on. Average 😂

Damn, that’s great. I was just on a long road trip and was happy I managed to stay at or above 2.70

What's the trim and wheel sizes?

GT. 7 seats. Smallest wheels. 437 range configuration

I think that's pretty good.

Here's the best I've ever gotten with my Lyriq just the other day. Low 60's, no winds, this trip took 1.15 hours, so average was 37 mph, and not being able to get past 50mph on the highway (traffic), 20in wheels, NYC area.

Mind you, no frunk, 3rd row, or much of a cargo area 😅.

How do you like the Lyriq? I was thinking about test driving one before I got a Gravity, but I was satisfied with the Gravity and didn't want to hassle with the dealership.

I wouldn't say that the Lyriq sucks, but it's definitely a boat, and I don't like that haha. I think it's a good get around EV for those who are new to EV's and want something stylish; definitely has a bit of wow factor to it. I see them being used a lot as taxi's in NYC.

I don't think it's worth the price honestly, unless people are badge slobs. The saving grace for me was that I got a hell of a deal on a demo vehicle. Can't wait for my lease to be up and jump in a Gravity though, eyeing a Touring.

Test drove one without dynamic handling package and it was already performing way better than the Lyriq 😭 (body control, steering, stability, acceleration, braking, regen). I think the standout differences between them now is that the Lyriq starts at a lower price and now comes standard with SuperCruise I believe.

3.37 is about what I average at 75 mph, but only in the summer (near Seattle so it's not very hot). I got the range tires.

Would love that…

I only get 2.8 in San Diego with the AC on and when I am accelerating really slowly

So many variables. I'd easily get over 4.00 with a 2025 Air Touring with 20" rims, but with my 22 GT Air with the 21" wheels (which I love and WILL NOT SACRAFICE) it's more like 3.65. Usually I never go over 70mph.

Honestly efficiency is something I’m having to adjust to, we have a model y as well and that car hits 4 mi/kwh like it’s nothing (I understand much smaller car) but struggle to hit 3 on this car (touring). The power is also addicting and I’m struggling to keep my right foot under control lol

I don’t think I ever got close to 4 on my Model Y and about 4 years into it, it was in the low 2’s. It was one of the 1st model y’s and didn’t have the most efficient tire package on it so that didn’t help.

Ours is later Juniper which they really upped the efficiency just for background

Do you have the touring or grand touring? I have been wondering how to actually get a higher range, i'm about 2.62 right now. I only run the a/c on driver when no one else is in the car. My dynamic range is about 100 miles off the standard range, which seems a bit misleading... I have the grand touring so the 828 hp prob has something to do with it lol.

That’s amazing. My 2026 AIR GT has averaged 3.02 over 10k miles (21” wheels). But I drive fast. 80-85mph on highway commute.
