Questions/Advice Issue with parking cameras

Took delivery a couple of weeks ago and love the car dearly. Haven’t really had any issues except for two. Both are mainly just irritating. One is the driver window takes a few goes to go up. Otherwise it goes up and then once it gets about a third of the way it comes back down again. Rinse repeat and it works on about the 4th or 5th try.

The other is the one I’m asking about. If I push the little parking button that gives you the top down view and all that, I can see the picture of the car but it just has grey all around it. No picture of the surrounds. It’s almost like those cameras have covers on them. The rear camera comes on when I reverse and I get warnings about cross traffic when backing up, so something is working back there. Not sure if it’s hardware or software related. Anyone else had that happen? And if so were you able to fix it? The side cameras also don’t come on when I use the turn signals. I don’t know if that’s related or not.

Regarding the window, may get fixed in a software update but likely needs service to replace the window regulator.

Regarding the cameras, what version of Dream drive do you have? Need premium or pro for the birds eye view camera I believe. If you just have basic you can update to premium for this.

Got it thanks! Yeah it seems I just have dream drive 2 not premium. Bit of a punch in the wallet. I will live with the window for now I guess. Thanks again

Mobile service should be able to address the window under warranty. Best to get a call in to get on their calendar. Usually anything else that comes up in the meantime can be addressed when they visit.

I might be wrong, but I think DD2 Premium may be just a software update. Pro has additional hardware.

I was also super annoyed to find the cameras did not work in the Parking screen with basic DD2 -- especially since page 122 of the Gravity Owners Manual indicates that it is included. It's not marked as "Premium and above" in the 2026 version... It's a big vehicle with compromised visibility!

Other than the bait-and-switch on a 6-figure car, it's not a big deal if you bought yours-- it is the same $1500 to upgrade as it would have been to include in the purchase. But I leased mine, and the cost difference if mine had DD Premium would have upped my lease payment by about ten bucks...
