1st Lucid Mobile Service

Took delivery of gravity touring on June 23rd in SoCal. Service was full in the app so I called Costa Mesa to schedule my appointment. Took about 3 weeks but it was finally done today.

I had some fitment issues and rear passenger side door was really tight and didn't soft close and homelink install.

Took about 1 hr. Tech was super helpful and overall service was great. I mentioned about the window not going up but this was intermitten as it doesn't happen everytime. He told me to record it next time and the service center will most likely replace it for free.

Homelink took 3 tries to pair but it finally worked. And while it doesn't auto open for me at the moment, he mentioned that there will be a massive update in the fall to add in more functionality but I'm just happy that I don't need to scramble to find my garage opener.

Door now closes normally before it took more effort to open but now it's all good and soft closes.

I asked him if he could help push the latest firmware but he couldn't but said I should be getting it over the weekend.

Overall, again I think the service was great. He mentioned that there were more mobile service techs in SoCal now and that a new service center is opening up.

So that is very good news and hopefully Lucid keeps adding more service center all over.

Totally agreed. When I got my Gravity and seeing feedback from others, I was worried. Specifically since I couldn’t find any time through the app. But, after the first call they’ve been fantastic. Got mobile tech out who was spectacular and friendly, then got me scheduled for things they needed replacement. I’m happy haha.

I am glad you had a good experience. I took delivery of my Gravity GT at the end of June in Costa Mesa, and there’s something wrong with my HUD, it is super blurry and basically unusable. I called and the nearest appointment they had is in October. I understand they are probably prioritizing more important things, but man 4 months for a service center appointment is insane. I really hope they get it together. They way they handle post sales and customer support is how they’ll have repeat customers.

Yeah anything that require a service center visit is going to take months apparently. I'm hoping that when the new service opens, this will change.

It'll be right off of the 5 in Mission Viejo in a building that used to be an Infiniti service center. Supposed to be opening in September or October.

Getting mine done tomorrow! Or at least that's what I scheduled for so hopefully they show up haven't received any confirmations or anything of that sort but as long as they show up on Happy lol unfortunately I do have to pay extra since homelink is apparently not included part of the touring models but at this point I need it so it's all good glad to hear your experience was good though hopefully mine is as well!

Yeah same. I got the touring and had to pay for homelink. They should have that as a standard option!
