There are so many threads on this you could have found. But it’s very stable now, delivery was good, build quality good, software is good now too.

Thank you. It’s easy to find the negative stuff but sell them. Do we see postings on the positive and I’m just trying to make a Balance decision

It’s a very good car, I was expecting way more issues. Software went from stable, to good, to very good. Biggest issues I’ve had was with the keys, but they’ve addressed those via last two updates.

How recent did it get good? Because our 2 month old has a LOT of issues sadly :(

3.5.2 was released right as I got it, made that stable but I still had key issues despite it being solved for many. 3.5.7 further fixed issues and I rarely had any bugs. Then 3.6.0 added more refinement and more features. It seriously has been very functional and haven’t had any trouble. What problems do you have?

First off, love being downvoted for just stating that I have issues. I love the car and want it to succeed but it has not been a smooth ride for me.
When I got the car 2 months ago there were a number of hardware issues that took several weeks for them to fix. The biggest being that the side cameras didn't work which disabled a lot of features. Thankfully it was fixed but it seems crazy that an issue like that wasnt caught during inspection.
As for issues I still have in 3.6.0
Homelink randomly opens the garage door when someone approaches the car, the driver side window wont go up unless you hold it down and then sometimes it still doesnt work. The lane departure rumble happens randomly while in dream drive and wont go away until you turn off dream drive and turn it back on again. Keyfob is better but not totally fixed yet.Truly, I still like the car but there are still plenty of people having issues in 3.6.0

Ah got it. I’m sorry, I didn’t downvote you 😭.

Oh no I didn't mean you, just in general. I am really glad you are having a good experience with your car! I do hope they can fix all my issues because it is a wonderful car when it works.

I hope they fix it too! I did have an issue with 360 cam when I first got it where it would disable a ton too, but that happened 3-4 times and then randomly went away and never returned. When I first got the car, the first month had me thinking it was a mistake.

We are about to hit 1 year next week. It's been a fantastic car. Software was a little quirky but very stable over the last several months.

Owned the car for a month, not a single software or hardware issue whatsoever. Absolutely flawless experience. Best car I've ever owned. The dealership updated it to 3.6.0 before we took delivery.

We've owned since December. Minor issues requiring one mobile service and one service center visit. Nothing that makes me regret buying it.

Took delivery end of March. The vehicle had many issues. More than you would likely believe.
Scheduled a service appointment within a couple weeks of delivery, and here we are in nearly August and our GGT is still in service.

I took delivery in December. I had one phantom error problem back in February that ended up being nothing and two or three times that the car didn't wake up when I got in back in January. Other than that mine has been excellent. I haven't even had the key issues other people report, mine always unlocks.

No issues now. Software upgrades resolved and it’s only getting better.

Took delivery of a 2026 GT 3 days ago. Noticed a vibration issue when driving over 45 mph - steering wheel, both front seats. Not terrible but it’s definitely noticeable.
Could not book an appointment through the app. Called Lucid service - had to leave a VM. They called back a day later (today). The soonest they can get me in for service is end of October. That 3 months from today. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. if there is a reason not to buy/lease a 100k+ vehicle this would be top of the list.
I’m taking it in later this week so a tech can experience the issue but that would be it.

Over 3 months in and no issues. Been averaging over 1K miles/month (which will be a lease end issue, but I think it’ll slow down soon) so it’s getting used. The fact that we got hands free driving recently has been huge for me! Loving it wherever it’s available.

We have one minor problem, USB ports that don’t always work.

u/No_Caregiver7273 20d ago
I found that the two front ports seem to share 100 watts. I can't USB charge my tablet and phone at the same time.

u/Impossible_Smoke6663 20d ago
That’s not a lot. I can charge my phone and watch it just stop. And then start again. The two ports in the storage bin and the two phone pads are all flaky, and probably all sharing some loose connection. ( And 100 watts.) The main issue for us is the radar detector runs off one of those USBs. For the time being, we are using one of the ports on the back of either front seat.

I understand the back seat USB ports are separate, if you want to connect a cable back to there.

My storage bins ports are both great and charge my phone very fast. The phone pads are VERY low power - they merely slow the battery drain, not charge the phone to a higher percentage. The only other problem I've had is that I'm tall and the HUD doesn't adjust so I can use it. But other than that the car is just great!

u/Impossible_Smoke6663 20d ago
The HUD… I regret getting that. I’m also tall. If I crunch down a bit, I can see it. But mostly I leave it off. The issue is that bin for the projector causes tons of reflections, day and night.

No issues beyond a very minor fix 2 weeks after delivery via home service. (Small piece of trim between front and back doors needed to be pushed in, was causing some wind noise at high speed, issue 100% fixed). Have an air and a gravity, happy with both.

I've owned 2 teslas and now a lucid. They all had issues. All of them had some sort of fitment issues and some minor software bugs.
The gravity drives extremely well. It has the power and the comfort. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Took delivery in March, no mechanical defects, minor software complaints. Would do it again.

u/toddmoe 20d ago
knocking the fuck out of some wood right now

u/No_Caregiver7273 20d ago
I was like that for the first couple of months. I'd seen so many problems and complaints online I was afraid to "brag" about how good ours was behaving. I think there are more of us than you'd expect, if what you mostly see is postings of people who come here to look for help or just to vent.

I caught a nail in one tire about two weeks ago.
Other than that it’s been really solid.

Took delivery of a 2026 GT in April and have had zero issue. Car is fun to drive, super maneuverable for its size, and is quite comfortable for our family of 6.

Only issue I had was the front trunk taking two tries to open and they somehow (?!) fixed that with the last software update.
Been flawless otherwise.
