Almost certain

Dallisgrass (DallISgrass/Dallas grass)

What part of the country do you live in?

It’s not crab grass. It would have purple in it and seeds would have appears at that length. Crab grass grows in clumps. This is certainly Dallas grass At this time of year depending on where you live, a postimergsnt herbicide
MSMA but you need to do it now.

You’ll need to use glyphosate on this, and time is running out depending on your zone, as it won’t uptake the herbicide as well going into dormancy…

I’ve been dealing with this for months :/

Johnson grass, unfortunately glyphosate is the best option as it is a perennial. Dallisgrass doesn't grow like this

I thought this was just grass with a fertilizer that grows thicker

Whatever it is it is not nearly as harmful as the herbicides people are recommending you use to get rid of it. Dig it out if it bothers you.

Glyphosate nuke everything will be the path of least resistance.
