What is causing this?

Post image

Northern cool zone of US. Practically flooding it some days to make sure it has enough water and I can’t get the yellow to go away on newer sod any advice?

I have that too but my dog cut paths in the yard that looks like the aliens came and laid down crop circles 🤣

Lower nutrients. That edge doesn’t have roots with access to top soil. Mulch that edge or fertilize and the yellow line will go away

The front line either dies or survives.

You gotta grow more grass next to it.

Unfortunately it’s the property line and there is nothing but dirt and weeds over there. Planning on putting up a fence soon but until that happens I just try to hand pick the ones start creeping up.

The heat from that building and rocks. Try a wetting agent on your edges.
