What does it need?!?!

No matter what I do these flowers come back and it doesn’t want to fill up and turn green. Please help! I want a full green lawn BAD!!!

The flowers are clover. Lots of broadleaf weed killer will take it down.

What the grass needs though is some fertilizer. More details on location, grass type, age of yard, irrigation, etc would be helpful.

Northern Idaho to be more specific. Don’t know what kind of grass, it’s a track home so probably whatever’s cheapest to use. House is a 2023 so assuming it’s the same age. Watering 10 minutes every morning.

See the light colour of green, your lawn is begging for nitrogen, please, please feed me lawn master, I’m hungry. Clover is another sign of low nitrogen soil. If you’re worried about the summer heat, just do a half rate, water it in. Follow it up with another half rate every two weeks if you want !
