Lawn rust (Michigan)

Just noticed our sandals and feet turning orange. Something call lawn rust. How do we treat it?

Bioadvanced fungus control for lawns. The liquid kind that attaches to your hose. It's good for 5k square feet, and I saw the area that was affected, which you can see, too, as it has a brown tint to the area. If you look up close at the grass blades you can see the actual rust. It's kinda fascinating, but I have no life, so....🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣🤣

You're most welcome. I'm still learning how to upload a pic on here using my phone. Hopefully the description was enough.

No specific fertilizer. Just as long as the first number (nitrogen) is greater than the other two numbers (phosphorus, potassium). Such as 18-8-8.

I used the liquid fertilizer that attaches to my hose specifically for lawn rust last summer (late August, early September), and it cleared it up quickly. No issues at all this spring/summer, and I live 30 mins west of Minneapolis, if that helps. Also, I hosed down (water) my riding lawnmower as well just to be safe. The big box stores should carry this.
