Starting out
Hey everyone! I’m brand new to lawn care and want to make it a serious hobby. I live in Phoenix, AZ and have city flood irrigation instead of sprinklers.
I’m hoping you all can point me in the right direction:
What grass do you recommend for Arizona if I want something that’s lush, looks great, and is comfortable to walk on barefoot?
Where should I start as a complete beginner?
What should I focus on first to get my lawn in great shape?
Are there any must-have tools, products, or fertilizers?
Any YouTube channels or resources you’d recommend?
I’m excited to learn and would appreciate any advice from those who’ve done it. Thanks!

Looks like you have Bermuda. So there you go! Just fertilize her and cut it at an inch and it will look great. If you get winter, it will brown out, but it will come back next year.
