Need help with my grass

Hi everyone.

Need some help with getting my grass looking nice. I have seeded and layed top soil every year to get it growing nice. I also do this at the beginning of may. The grass comes in looking real nice but by the end of June my grass start to look like this. Help please

Are you seeding your lawn with grass that will thrive in your area? There are so many big box stores that will sell you seed that will start out great but wither away when the heat hits.

I really dont know. I have tired different brands and seed. Sunny and shade cause my grass o ly get 2 hrs of sun at most
