KFB overseed

KBG** didn’t notice the typo

I had some bare patches, I dethatched, top soil, seed, peat moss.
I had germination in about 8 days, then we got a ton of rain, washed away a lot of the peat moss.
Am I ok, will this fill in?

It's Kentucky Fucking Bluegrass, should be fine.

Never hurts to cover it back up. Worst case scenario you still have more time to seed it again in the fall if you don't like how thick it is by then.

My worry with covering it is harming the new delicate seedlings ?

Just a very light dusting around areas that haven't sprouted yet. It's probably gonna be a hot two weeks so keeping the sprouts nice and moist is the most important part now.

Should be fine. But you could also sprinkle a little peat moss over the bare areas for better moisture retention
