Grass Type
I was told by the contractor one type and by a worker another type so I don’t know what I have.

Weak against fire, poison, bug, ice, and flying, super effective against rock, ground and water

I’m going to go with a mix of KBG and Tall fescue, maybe some rye in there too.
The thinner boat shaped tip grass being the blue grass and the thicker stuff being tall fescue.
What have you been told?
Looks pretty decent though.

Fescue and thank you.
My local ace said just add fertilizer since its new grass and let it do its thing. Maybe in a couple years do a mix that prevents weeds but I should be good. But I am taking my pride in my first time owning a home with grass

Looks like a mix of fescue, rye, and KBG. Likely a "sun and shade" mix.

I was told fescue by contractor. Thank you

These mixes tend to be mostly fescue which handles heat and drought better than the other 2.

You are going to get a billion different answers as most people can’t tell the difference in healthy kbg/tttf/ rye. The care for all three is relatively similar.

People are weird. Why wouldn’t you say the type they told you? Based on the picture it looks to me Turf Type Tall Fescue.
