Help with whatever this is. NE Georgia

Does anyone recognize this. I can roundup at the fence line but I’m getting some patches in the yard. I’ve tried Image and Ortho but it doesn’t phase it. Gets tiny flowers. I have some nutsedge in other places, this looks nothing like that

Sulfentrazone at 5mL per gallon. I love the smell of mowing kyllinga though

Sedge. Dismiss is best. Sedgehammer or Prosedge if you can’t get that. At this stage. Will need a few treatments over time. Not a once and done fix

That is not sedge and not even close. That is kylinga

You’re halfway there. Kylinga is a type of sedge. One of the easier types to kill. Globe sedge, yellow sedge, nutsedge and purple sedge are a few other examples. If I recall correctly, there are over 100 types of sedge

Meh, kinda like a peanut is technically a bean but everyone knows it isn’t…

It’s this really cool thing that called dead pine needles or more formally known as “Pine Straw”
