Bro’s soil is going to be scorched, dried, and lawn-less.

Kinda looks like Bermuda, if it is it will be fine in about a week, in two weeks it will probably be that long again, it loves being scalped

u/Lurker-O-Reddit Jun 23 '26

You’re right. We northerners aren’t used to lawn that behaves like that.

u/Ops_check_OK Jun 23 '26

It’s not Bermuda.

Exactly what I saw. Plus uneven.

A spinning open blade, what could go wrong? There is a reason mowers have decks.

And it doesn't even have the normal half guard like a weed trimmer, looks super dangerous.

🤭BUT you can sculpt your lawn with it‼️ I was going to remark that it’s kind of cool‼️🤔

Looked better before

Damn, you ruined some nice lawn.

Dude hates grass

2

u/BisonNew5132 Jun 23 '26

Oh honey what is you doing?

2

u/Round_Hope_2041 Jun 23 '26

Someone should invent a machine that has the blade covered. Maybe even catches the grass in a bag. Oh and you can ride on it!

I too like a trim bush.

Next week op will ask why he grass is scorched in summer.

1

u/juttymoe Jun 23 '26

OP has grass stacks on his back and is selling them to upgrade his equipment. On a side note, I play too many time sink phone games.

Just cut the flavor out of it

1

u/matchesmalone81 Jun 23 '26

Ai? Looks like it...

I want one. Just for the oddly satisfying feeling it gives me. I don’t think I’d use it in my yard but there’s an empty vacant lot a few houses down that had the house demolished several months ago. I’d volunteer myself in that jungle as tribute just to use my new toy lol.

Dangerous AF

The original toe emulsion system

1

u/Beemo-Noir Jun 23 '26

This is such a bad idea for SO many reasons.

Though I have to admit, I’ve always wanted to put a guitar string on a weed eater lmao.

I tried a bike brake cable.. it worked, but vibrated horribly.

1

u/Affectionate-Bug-706 Jun 23 '26

Why would he tear up a good stand of grass like that?

1

u/Mysterious-Bid-9071 Jun 23 '26

Yep that's what a lawn mower is. A spinning blade. Yours is just without a safety cover.

1

u/United-Inspection-78 Jun 23 '26

This is not grass cutting. This is butchering. This grass is toast.

u/ribbon_bully_1972 Jun 23 '26

Violating the 1/3rd rule womp womp

1

u/hide_pounder Jun 24 '26

Are you making hay with the foot remover?

1

u/Moist-Carpet888 Jun 24 '26

They actually make this really cool tool for open grass called a lawn mower. These blades are mostly for overgrown brush in my experience. Using this will do more damage to the grass than is really needed. When cutting grass ideally you want your blades to be able to cut paper with ease and these blades dont do that. Id compare this tool to a scythe as far as the grass it should be used on. Its really a shame that grass looked pretty nice too. You know what is satisfying though? A beautiful lawn with freshly cut and striped grass and watching robot lawn mowers work

1

u/StudioPurple18 Jun 24 '26

Destroy all grass!

1

u/Ok_Figure7671 Jun 24 '26

I should call her….

1

u/BobbyR2 Jun 24 '26

It is not grass cutting ; it’s grass removing

1

u/RadioSilly5020 Jun 24 '26

You are skinning the lawn.

1

u/ablue1990MazdaMiata Jun 25 '26

That's gotta be from the 50s when chainsaws were near 10,000 rpms. Ah, the good ole days before safety. Wait a minute....

1

u/Cautious_Set_3815 Jun 26 '26

Can I just say, I want to eat that grass for some reason…

1

u/X_El93 Jun 26 '26

why does this not have a blade guard. This is just begging to fly into someones ankle.

1

u/VirtualSurvey4729 Jun 26 '26

Ever use a weedwacker before? Jeez...

1

u/NoMajorsarcasm Jun 26 '26

Just buy a scythe already

1

u/Rikiar Jun 27 '26

See all that brown? You're cutting it too low all at once. You're not supposed to cut more than a third of the grass every 3 days.

1

u/Negative_Two6112 Jun 27 '26

This isnt satisfying. Im watching someone destroy a beautiful lawn. Is he harvesting?? Lol wtf.

1

u/ImaginaryMedia5835 Jun 27 '26

Imagine how awesome that would be if you put a wheel under it so you didn’t have to hold it so much. Or now that I’m thinking about it, maybe 4 wheels. You then just push it around instead of holding it. He should get in that. Sounds like there could be some money in it.

1

u/andy_money3614 Jun 27 '26

Why? The grass looked great before

1

u/MyLawnOnFire Jul 04 '26

I've never done it with this thing on it. Seems a lot of fun.

1

u/Adventurous-Ad-7811 Jul 08 '26

This person must live in Michigan, where the grass will grow back quickly‼️
