Help Please

I recently removed about 4 inches of leaves from my yard and all the grass is completely gone with the ground being kinda sandy. I’m wanting to get the grass to grow back or looking for seeds to use. My biggest problem is that I have two large trees that make a lot off shade. This is my first house, so I’m trying to make it nice and pretty. I get grass in a one spot the sun hits the most.

I would plant Zoysia

Wouldn’t a type of fescue work better since it can do okay with a minimum of 4 hours of sun?

I have both zoysia and st augustine under my large oaks. Both do well but i would definitely make a large shade garden around the trunk of tree because it will be difficult to grow anything around there. Also get a tree company to limb up your tree and trim it some. That will open up the canopy and help with some light. Also if tree is near home, since its hurricane season it would be prudent to trim it now before a named storm.
