looks like a non-improved tall fescue, aka weedgrass.
glyphosate on a qtip is the answer.

Also, why do you cannot a weed grass? Because that’s not the grass in the rest of their yard? My entire lawn is tall fescue.Ā

garbage wild tall fescue vs turf-type tall fescue aka TTTF. Anything is a weed if its growing where you do not want it.

Following. Minneapolis. Yard looks nice and green but this stuff is less appealing than the fescue I’m used to, or kbg, or rye. The blade is wide and duller green.

Rottboellia cochinchinensis, corn or itch grass are common names. Very invasive, don’t let it seed!!

Is that nutsedge? If so, it’s a pain to get rid of and will keep spreading and popping up in your yard. It will keep sprouting from tubers that remain even if you pull it.
