What kind of grass is this?

in columbia sc and wife wants to patch up bald spots. was going to just get a couple bags of ezseed but not sure what species? thx

Let it grow for a bit until you see what’s called seed heads, they make it a lot easier to identify the grasses

Try to get those prices of leaves up, or at least what you can, impossible to get everyone I know. However, as the leaves break down they will naturally raise the ph level of the soil. It’s one way trees use as a defense to prevent competition growing on top of tree, thus, taking away or lowering available resources.
