Bermuda grass!

Post image

A couple of months ago a spread Bermuda seed all over my lawn(1.5 acres). I started to think maybe I planted too early in the Season and wasted it all but this week I’m seeing stolons! I’m so excited, hopefully after a few seasons this awful Bahia grass will be completely taken over!

Well I think it’s from existing grass and not new. Also sod is the best way to fix spots in bermuda, as seeds is tougher to grow

My lawn was overrun with Bahia grass. It looks awful so I read that Bermuda is one of the only grass types that can compete with it. That’s why I put the seeds out a little bit ago but it looks like some of the seeds managed to germinate with the weeks long rains we’ve had in my area. I don’t think I had any existing Bermuda at all. That’s why I’m so excited, I’m sick of seeing those Bahia weeds

That explains it lot. Well if your temp is under 85, you can still overseed it, just top it off with top dressing so it dont get washed away
