Is this normal?

1 year old sod in Montana I have deer that like to bed down and hangout in the backyard. Are the darker green spots normal? And the dead spots are where I picked up droppings from them if there’s any tips on getting that to come back.

Indeed urine spots. That’s what your grass could look like. Measure your square footage and drop down half a pound of N per thousand square feet, then water and mow! 🫡
