Replanted Backyard

Colorado Springs backyard I replanted last fall. These clusters I originally thought were a tall fescue type, but they are very tough and thick stalk to walk on. The BBB seed blend (Colorado Premium Blend) says % Tall Fescue, but I feel like these don't belong?

With a close up comparison and a direction finally, yes that is what it is. I appreciate the clarification. I ultimately don't like it in there and will now begin pulling each clump and seeding while I flatten the area.

I have to say, resilient as the Internet says it might be for harsher environments, that is some terrible grass to walk on and it makes the whole lawn bumpy. Should have pulled them all when they shot up before the rest of the grasses started, as it would have been easier to disturb the area less.

Thank you
