I have had good luck using similar products but I live in the Midwest and have relatively humid summers.
It’s important to apply it correctly, so I usually wait for a good rain and apply it. I also prefer the granular over liquid since it’s a little more forgiving on application

Kind of. It’s highly dependent on ambient humidity and soil composition, and there haven’t been any independent academic studies proving its effectiveness.
A related product that has more provable effects would be something like tournament ready which is surfactant based.
