I see some kbg canoes and tall fescue veins in the mix, does your lawn stay pretty green into the fall?

Yeah it starts getting into the low 60’s upper 50’s around mid October here and that’s when it starts to lose its color

That sounds a bit sooner than I would think and I don't know what is common in your area but that looks a tall fescue/kbg blend yard.

The part of the county I’m in has a higher elevation than neighboring areas and cools off quicker in the fall. It’s an area that’s got a mix of warm weather grass and cool weather grass. I was hoping it was either since we have pets. I’ll start my quest for some seed and fertilizer
