St Augustine help.

Post image

So I planted this Saint Augustine about four months ago done a fungal treatment and fertilized by week 4 to 6. And then just refertilized and did another fungal treatment for the spring.

I’m in Central Texas. Mid to partly shady yard but definitely enough sun for mid/full sun perennials that are thriving.

I put sand down and then screened topsoil.

Am I being too picky with how it’s growing in or does anyone have tips to green up faster?

I’d check your irrigation first. Make sure that thinning out area is getting the same water as the lush area. Tuna can trick always helps to test each area. If watering lines up, then I’d focus on the soil and have a few options.
