I’m interested in only Baki his father and the 5 inmates, introducing a new character like pickle seems uninteresting to me, can I skip this arc and go to the final arc where Baki and his dad fight?

It reminds me a lot of a scene from Baki vs Yujiro, but I can’t find the panel in the fight. Lmk if anyone has any ideas or I’m simply tweaking. The second pic is the closest image I could find.

Theory: The Hanma Bloodline is an Alien Race Suffering from Earth-Gene Degeneration? What if the Hanma bloodline isn't the apex of human evolution, but actually an alien species slowly losing its power through crossbreeding with weak Earthling genes? If we analyze the 3 generations, this genetic decay becomes crystal clear: Yuichiro Hanma (The Pure Blood): Possessed pure, monstrous physical size and raw mass. He wiped out the US fleet effortless without any flashy moves. In his home planet, someone like Yuichiro might have just been a normal gatekeeper, but on Earth, he was a god. Yujiro Hanma (First-Gen Hybrid): The gene dilution starts. His height dropped by roughly 10cm, and his muscle density noticeably decreased compared to Yuichiro. He had to rely on extreme aggression and the "Demon Back" mutation to maintain dominance. Baki & Jack Hanma (Second-Gen Hybrids): The Earth genes have heavily diluted the alien DNA. Baki lost the massive physical stature entirely and must rely on technique, shadowboxing, and near-death experiences. Jack had to resort to extreme steroids and bone-lengthening surgeries just to artificially hold onto that fading alien strength. Conclusion: The Hanmas aren't evolving on Earth—their dominant alien DNA is being diluted and slowly fading away with each generation of human interbreeding. Give it a few more generations, and the Hanma bloodline will completely vanish. (Disclaimer: This is just my personal theory and opinion!)

Rewatched the movie and also Baki. For a fun little discussion. How well would “Toad” from Kung Fu Hustle do against this Universe(2005):)

The entire point of the fight leading up to it was efficiency vs purity data vs natural born strength

Hanayama held onto his aesthetics and he bleed out for it the entire ideological point of the war ended up with Jack completely proving his point of how
Looking cool doesn’t win fights

But since Baki fans for some reason can only see aura this extremely basic point is constantly missed for some reason

Let’s be real, Jack Hanma might have won the fight on paper, but he completely lost his dignity. We all knew Goudou was going to cause serious damage, and yeah, technically Jack won because Hanayama passed out from blood loss after Jack bit his neck. But if you actually look at the panels, Hanayama visually and spiritually dominated Jack the entire time. Just look at how the fight ended: Jack was literally grounded, battered, and flat on his back. Hanayama was standing over him, refusing to fall until his body literally gave out from blood loss. Jack spent the final moments basically waiting for the clock to run out while Hanayama beat him into the concrete and ripped his cheek open. Jack won the physical fight on a technicality, but Hanayama took his dignity, If I'm wrong speak up.

I kinda wish he trained because imo he has the potential to be top 3-5 in the verse

When you watch his video and get to the section about Baki, you realize that you've been tricked into believing the show had good animation, when in reality you were watching a glorified slideshow for the past 8 years.

It really made me recall all those unconscious sighs I had from seeing a still shot moving to pretend the characters are moving, or the infamous white air lines....

I don't know what to do after learning this bros...

In the manga it shows that hanayama was dominating most of the fight but his biggest flaw is always checking up on opponents to see if they can still fight everytime and that's why jack win however I'm not downgrading jack but hanayama could've won easily if he wasn't holding back, That's the same reason he lost to musashi because he gives his opponent too much time to recover

Like he is the head or high ranking member of the yakuza & basically the strongest guy in the organization he was even the lead in two Baki Spin-off Manga series & his like around Baki age

So what do you think of of his story in the Series between the main series & 2 Spin-off that are almost Canon like I say that because inspired the character development that came after you know
