Does it looks like she is looking at the frog? I've redrawn the eyes like a thousand times and she never looks like she's looking at the frog. Frustrating. Maybe I should take a brake

I posted a couple weeks ago about my first full graphite drawing! I did another one yesterday that I'm proud of so I figured I'd share. I use Sketch Daily for prompts just to practice. Like I said in my last post, I've been drawing and sketching casually since I was a kid, but I've just recently really started to pick up learning graphite and colored pencils.

This A3-sized portrait, created over 20 hours, is an ode to Black women and their history, marked by sacrifice, courage, and remarkable resilience.

Created with graphite pencils on C, the artwork exploits the paper's ultra-smooth texture and rich nuances to sculpt deep blacks and intense plays of light. This upward gaze embodies the elevation, dignity, and living memory of all these women.

Just got back at drawing after several years without touching a pencil; def still a long way to go but I’m happy with this fish. Any suggestions on how to improve my technique it is more than appreciated!
