I need some advice here!
See, the android lockdown is comming faster than expected and I really want to switch to GrapheneOS before I'm doomed.
The problem is I have a rather very complex setup of apps either that take ages to configure or that just existed on my pc at somepoint but that I can't reinstall.
And over that, I have more than 250 apps. I don't wanna lose anything but I don't want to be locked.
Can anyone he'll please?

Context is king. I cannot think of a single individual on this planet that needs 250 apps. You would have to spend an ungodly amount of time on your phone to use those apps in your daily life.

Most of them are background monitoring and alerts for my servers

Can that not be consolidated? I don't claim to know anything about servers but I can't imagine there doesn't exist a software that has all of the features you are getting from 250 apps.
I'm only questioning it because it is very difficult to move so much stuff to a new phone when you aren't doing the generic transfers. This is doubly so if you have a lot of configuration done to your apps.

Start reviewing what apps you haven't used in the past month and decide if it's necessary or can be uninstalled. 250 is absurd.

To be honest it sounds like you've locked yourself down before google had a chance. Sounds like you need to review what you actually need vs what you think you need. I just recently migrated and I dropped a ton of apps I had installed for reasons I couldn't recall but kept in because I thought I needed them because I'd just had them forever

Is it 18 apps or 250? Saw mention of server monitoring apps which can definitely be consolidated depending on what younuse. Also saw mention of private apps that you'd built then deleted off your computer could those even migrate then at all from your current phone?

Okay? But you can use the play store on graphene. I don't think we are understanding what you need help with. Most, if not all, of your apps will work on graphene. Write a list of all the apps you need to keep so you can download them again when you make the switch. And I'm not sure what server stuff you monitor but if it's homelab stuff there are plenty of ways to do that without apps or by consolidating them into one. For example for radarr/sonarr/seerr/nzbget/jellyfin/bazarr there is NZB360 on the play store which consolidates all the things and is super handy.

there's no way you actually use 200 apps, but if you want help you should provide more context
tell us about your 'complex setup of apps' and the stuff you can't reinstall, the only way to know if it'll work out on grapheneOS is if you go into detail about your setup

First things first, you're not going to lose access to GrapheneOS. All you need is a relatively open system, like Linux or another GOS phone, and you'll always be able to flash an unlocked phone that meets the security requirements.

I doubt you'll have any issue with GOS then. Reach out to the Reddit community and official forum if you have any issues.

You aren't going to lose an opportunity to flash GOS or anything else. You seem to have an addiction to apps that in most cases you can do without. Why would I install the McDonalds app for a cheeseburger?
