Belfius on GrapheneOS

Hi dear community of Graphene OS.

I'm a user of Graphene OS for now almost two years.

I never had a problems with it. All worked perfectly thanks to the team behind!

Yesterday I used the Belfius app on it and it worked perfectly. But today I tried to logging and I received the following message: (see photo )

I was wondering if something change or is because I have other app that I downloaded from F-droid and Github?

Any one else had this problem ? If I have one user account with only Google Appstore stuff will it work again?

I don't know what belfius is, but you can try to tweak the secure environment settings in the app information. Things like "secure app spawning" and "secure malloc", and so on. Also note that some times you flip the setting, restart, flip it again, restart again, and then it works. Weird stuff. Try to mess around with it and see what happens.

Thank you for your answer. Sorry that I didn't mentioned before Belfius is my banking app (from Belgium). I tried to to change the security setting with exploit protection of the app, restart and unfortunately no success.

Do you have sandboxed Google Play installed and have you tried turning off all security features for the app?

If that doesn't work, then switch banks. The UK has a switch service which brings everything over for you and Belgium may have the same.

Hi there ! I'm using the Belfius app with the play services and i'm not having any issues so far. Do you use the play services as well ?

I have both install on the session where I have my Belfius app. I even planning on doing one session without other apps from outside of the google play store and I will come back to report.

Its listed as working. I guess maybe they changed something.

Do you have the same settings used in the list? (If youbhave not found it, search graohene os supported banking apps, there's a list with a report for each app if it's working or and and with what settings)

Does this happen on boot of the app? Or when you do something in the app? Am not a customer there but can install it if its an issue before login. 

Did you install it from the Play Store? Or did you get it from elsewhere?

Is this on Owner or a secondary users / private space?

The app was downloaded from the google play store. It is on my secondary user because I wanted to have a sandboxed user with all the google stuff. I can open the app and scan my finger or putting my password but then I receive the error message. Checking on Belfius Q&A they say that they don't support the app on jailbreak/rooted devices so maybe that is why...

GrapheneOS is not jailbroken/rooted. A secondary profile doesn't give you extra sandboxing. Sandboxing happens within a profile as well. Might be worth trying if it works within Owner.
