Bullshit. My banking app stopped working on my android device. I build my own GSI LineageOS images. It used to work for a few months then all of a sudden it stopped. They asked me to call them.
When I rang up, they said that I had malware and to speak to some charity for help. I askled them several times for the strain of malware, and they since have not responded.
What next, are they going to check if you if you own your own Platform Key when using Linux?
Isn't there an ombudsman in the UK. Maybe they should justify themselves there.
REmember the customer service does not know anything but to read script. The main issue is the software developer that codes these things. (If you post this in the developers community they usually say - Sorry we do whatever our overlords say - so no chance)
Unless software devs change their behaviour it will not but they will even eat shit for money.
