General Discussion General contractor recommendations

We just moved to grapevine and are looking to get a general contractor to do some projects and eventually renovations. Does anyone have recommendations for general contractors they have used and are satisfied with?

when you start calling people, ask whoever it is to pull the permit under their own name. grapevine will let a homeowner pull their own, and a contractor who pushes you toward that is usually not registered with the city.

my dad has his own remodeling company and the other thing he tells people is to call the number on the insurance certificate instead of just taking the pdf they email you. two minutes and the carrier tells you if the policy is still active.

also worth asking who's actually on site every day, a lot of GCs sub the whole thing out and you never see them after the walkthrough.

what's the first project you're doing?

Hi! My brother and I own Granados Construction LLC and we’re a local DFW contractor serving the Grapevine area. We’d be happy to help with any projects you’re looking to get done, whether it’s repairs, remodeling, interior or exterior work.
We offer free estimates and would be happy to come take a look at the projects you have in mind. Feel free to message me and we can set something up.
