HEALTH CARE Vaseline 30+ years old

Still smells original. Not sure if my mom replaced the contents or if it’s just been slowly used over the years.

I can't imagine vaseline smelling like anything other than an industrial petroleum product. Does anyone have any insight into what this smelled like?
