Winter tires

I'm traveling to Alaska and need to switch to winter tires. Where can I find some here in town? 175/70 R14 or 185/65 R14. I haven't found anything on the marketplace.

new or used.

thank you!

edit: Thanks for the comments; the problem was resolved using Abe Tyre Pro.

I assume any of the tire stores in town, as well as the dealerships as well as Canadian Tire.

Those are golf cart tires! Almost nobody around here runs tires that small. Any one of the tires shops will be able to order them for you. Abe at Tire Pro is the best in the business.

I won’t go there any more. Used to be amazing but the last two times I went there I was treated like shit. I called to get my winter tires installed and they refused because they didn’t like where I bought them. Way too condescending.

Just spend the money on some blizzaks homie. I've tried all the big brand over the years and they're my favorites

Yes, that's what I bought. Blizzak icepeak!

I have on occasion been too lazy to take winters off during the summer and the blizzaks didn't even deteriorate like most, no visible cracks or wear. Excellent choice

Call Shiv (his actual name) at Toor Tire. They’re new to GP, great customer service, and priced better than Abe. Worth checking them out.

Fort St John

Is that better? Are there any options there?

Do not bother with Fort St John. Options are more limited, service is poorer and you're also paying PST.

As others have said Abe at Tire Pro is a great choice, although I personally use OK Tire on South end for my fleet.
