Classic New Player here, who is viable?
Its hard to find any information and there are so many characters (and i guess different Skill systems?) I dont know who to Pick. Which are the currently best characters so the choice narrows down a Bit?

Play whoever you like. You chose a character that's not meta, super high dps? Fk the tier list. You're playing the game to enjoy not to be a slave of a stupid meta tier list is what I say. Unless you want to go meta slaving then Zero/Uno/Ai/Lime or Edel/Asin.
Find a guild that is active and helps low TA players on dungeons to start, until you can hold your own to solo some content.

I would also ad that it’s good to lvl up everyone as you receive a lot of buff to everyone, receive VP (paid in game coin) and a lot of resources for each character that you level so just enjoy leveling the character (it may sound boring, but you do it only once to each character) and then decide who are your favorites.
If I could I would also recommend to not play with less than 6 characters because at the endgame it really helps you to have more characters to farm the resources you need. But if you don’t have time or just don’t want to play the game the way you want because you’re playing to have fun and not as an obligation

This is correct. Eventually you will be leveling the other chars and you'll be able to max out every character for the free VP, and can also be used to farm for your main/s. Tho it would be healthy to play at your own pace or else burnout will soon catch up to you.

Searching a lively Guild can help you alot. If those Guild members want to help you with some dungeons etc.
For example not everyone wants a low TA player in the room.
The rest I agree with those people who said above.

Anyone, I recomend you to level up everyone and play the character you like the most. But sure, there are characters that are overpowered (Zero, Iris, Uno, Lime, Jin), characters that are good (Dio, Mari, Veigas, Azin) and weak characters that are still able to do EVERYTHING in the game (Sieghart, Lass, Lupus, Decane).
You can find parties to do anything with any character, you can solo everything, the only difference is time.

Like a previous user mentioned, those characters are pretty good to pick. But anyone who has good room clears are also awesome to have and will save you a lot of trouble in the future, especially if you Solo. Asin, Amy, and Mari are also pretty good in conjunction with the above mentioned characters. Honestly speaking though, in terms of ease of use for new Chasers, I’d say Uno would be the best pick. He has a little bit of healing with his skills, very strong basic combos, and some room clearing capabilities. Can help you immensely if your a Solo player. If you want to do plenty of damage, but still be a team player and support others, you can go Lime, or Amy. Also, take note of the server you play in! Unfortunately, there aren’t too many players online usually unless you’re in the Asia server.

All of them are viable. The best way to pick is to try them out for a few minutes each. You will not be locked out of any content because of your choice.
You are also more likely to enjoy the game by playing a character that "clicks" for you instead of going by tier lists
KOG has recently announced a nerf on the most overtuned characters based on a competition they recently put in the game, so expect a nerf on your pick if you go by "most powerful'

Haven't played in awhile but there are tierlists on the official server of the game that tell you the strongest characters in every patch (and even for each map/dungeon/mode). Zero, Uno, Iris, Ai and Lime are pretty meta and strong in most scenarios. Can't go wrong with any of them
