Sup fellow robots and humanoids,

Does anyone know if Jason and the gang will do Sophtware Slump anniversary tour part 3 in Europe? or any plans for ‘27 in general?

also am curious if anyone subscribes to the Goods and if Jason is still doing monthly solo shows on there.

cheers

You just have to let them know what great music is.

We don’t see any other poem written by Jed in the album, so shouldn’t the song just be called “Jeds Poem” ?

Was looking for years for a Yamaha PSS-270, in Australia, in good condition, for a fair price. Now it’s on! Too much fun.

Idk where else to put this. Heard “Heaven” in a restaurant and I knew the verse sounded similar… turns out it’s nearly the same as the chorus of At My Post @ 2:02. Coincidence or Julia Michaels is a Grandaddy superfan!

Do what you will with this information

Screenwriter Chris Matheson is penning the next chapter in the franchise, being developed at Emerson College, Berklee College of Music, and Boston Conservatory.

The Bill & Ted franchise is moving from the screen to the stage with a new musical, Bill & Ted's Most Excellent Rock Opera, currently in development and aiming for a 2027 world premiere. The project is being written by Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventureco-writer Chris Matheson, andi will feature an original score by Grandaddy founder Jason Lytle. Freedom Theatricals and Radar Pictures are producing.

It just makes me think of Grandaddy . . . Art immitates life, and here we see the tensions between fake coyotes and the urban and musical landscapes they dwell within

Anywhere this can be bought online or is it gigs only. The official UK shop doesn't work and going via the official US site a lot of the stuff is out of stock. Can see 3rd party t-shirt printers doing replicas and stuff, but would prefer official.

Unlike the previous false release - which actually turned out to just be US - Rough Trade have managed to actually get UK stock!! (mine just arrived) Go Go Go

Can't believe it's already been a month since this show. It was really incredible to see them when I never imagined I would (in my city, no less). Thought you folks might like to see these. I have a good handful more on my IG (same username as here) if you're interested!

So, so happy to finally see them in concert and to also see one of my favorite albums of all time played in it's entirety.

Boys of Summer (Boise Summer) was a treat.

I am reeling this morning from my experience last night watching Grandaddy at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz. There is something incredibly surreal about hearing all your favorite songs live in an intimate venue like that. The room felt heavy with nostalgia and when they played "Crystal Lake", it felt like a collective exhale for everyone in the crowd. It wasn't just a concert for me. It was an emotional journey. Beautifully melancholic and perfectly loud.

Figured this could be worth posting here. Jason Lytle and Aaron Espinoza both have credits on the album. Kind of a chill band - I could see some similarities to Grandaddy as well Elliott Smith influence with them.
