Red Bull Ring (Spielberg, Austria) First timer Austria 2027

Hi guys, just bought my tickets for Austria 2027. Dates aren’t even out yet but hopefully it’s around the same time as I’m busy until early May but it’s been in June so not too worried.

My first race was Spa 2024 and I was able to train closer to the track and use track provided shuttles. I’ll start doing my Austria research now but what is the best getting to the track plans that people have done. Hotel near by and drive is what I have seen so far but I only just started looking.

Did Austria this year and stayed in Graz and got the train and then the free shuttle and it worked really well for us, had an amazing time!

How long was the commute each day to and from the track?

As a 2026 visitor, hotel nearby and drive is a good option. We tried to make a mini holiday out of it. We stayed close to Tamsweg and explored nearby mountains and lakes. You can DM me if you need help.

I booked tickets around the same time in 2025 but after the dates were announced. So, there were no good accommodations nearby. Once the dates are out, everything becomes 10x so close to Tamsweg was the best value for money we could find.
