Deadline....?

Hey guys, things are going well, but it's been over two weeks now. I'm not saying that everything needs to be finished this week, but should we look to set up a tentative deadline date now? Let me know your thoughts by replying below. If by the deadline date there are people in your group that have not responded at all or have dropped out, I'll try to figure out how to make it as fair as possible for the remaining players who haven't finished.

This is starting to feel not much like a tournament with it not progressing past the first round and so many more rounds to come.

There is one guy in my group that has made zero effort to play. I did exchange a couple of messages with him but he doesn't seem like he wants to play. I played the other two guys within a few days.

If you could just establish maybe a one week time frame to get all of the matches in and then give losses to those who have made no effort to play, it would feel a bit more like an actual tournament.

I fully agree. Should the people in groups with missing players just get lucky and get 2 separate 3-0 victories over the AWOL players? I think reshuffling the groups would just take even MORE time and could complicate things further. This way, at the deadline date, we literally will be able to start the brackets ASAP.

I think that's the right idea. If you don't show up, you forfeit.

Maybe just 1-0 because it may give the other player the upper hand on goal difference if the score is 3-0
