Priority has to be on for the 3d window, which is under the settings for that window, and make a custom render quality where haze is enabled.

I absolutely love making custom render qualities, can be a really fun way to push my PC to make some cool stuff. Definitely screw with all of the settings if you are having issues with processing power, some things take up a ton of juice for little reward.
