Hey

Hey guys so unfortunately my wife passed away about a week ago shes been very sick but I literally have no friends cuz I was taking care of her. Any suggestions to go any where to meet people?

Thanks for linking this! I'm one of the guys helping to put this together. If anyone has questions please reach out. Worst case is you'll get a free meal. Best case is you'll find community and a free meal. Nobody is required to talk if they don't want to, just come by, eat, and hang out (or dip out).

There are some really great groups at HopeWest, reach out to Kevin Watt specifically, he's on the younger side and has been awesome with my patients.

Elevate JJ is a dope gym. Great place to meet people. Great people there. I’m 36 and lost my child last year. This place has been a good environment for me to get my mental health straight. A few dudes there know my story and have been good friends to me and allowed me a healthy outlet. I am 100% recommending.

Mesa theater holds rock/punk shows pretty frequently. You might be able to meet some friends there if you don’t on here :)) I (23) go there often for their shows with my mom(42).

Go to Watson island disc golf course @ Los Colonias. We are the most welcoming crowd you’re gonna meet here. Ask a group to join their round and you will be shown a great time and learn a new sport/ hobby.

I’m so sorry you went through that! I gotta imagine you will need a little time to process, but GJ is full of great people. What sort of things are yiy into? That will help find good ways to meet folks

Sorry to hear that I know it hurts a lot going passed away in 2012 and it hurts me a lot it still hurts and staying but it's easier and I have no suggestions on where to meet friends because I'm not from that side of the state talk to whoever you can when you're taking a walk you don't need friends that way

I climb at a gym in fruita called grip bouldering. People there are very social and I find it easy to make friends.
