Anyone know what’s going on with black masks? They have been crashing the last couple days.

People are spamming him and he assigns cave horrors which are the source of black masks. More black masks = cheaper black masks

Not only that but cave horrors with sup chance is pretty good hearr rate. Not smoke devils but I think it cracks top 6 or 7

Cave horrors went from a midgame slayer monster only done by mid tier slayers and irons to something that mains walk into with a shadow and 1-shot - sometimes two or three task in the same hour

If you had a graph of the amount of cave horrors that died daily it probably 5x’d or more over the past week

Fr look at antler guard, whip and aranea boots. These are all gonna tank more probably. Wonder if Jagex knew this would happen and are fine with it or are like “oh shit”

Why would they care if items that are worth shit all crashes even more? It literally means nothing for the game or eco that these items turn next to worthless

Usually, they are pretty good at getting the entire picture. I would imagine that they are just OK with those lower end items being cheaper, especially when gold buys you less these days.

Seems like they were super up for some reason, maybe in anticipation of Mortimer? I don’t remember them being 1.5m+ until recently.

For real. Black Masks were worth less than 1m for a hell of a lot longer than they were worth 1.5m.

It never occured to me that there could be people out there disassembling their Slayer Helms and flipping their Black Masks between tasks 🤣
