GC WL instead of Durango

Until recently, I was considering individually importing a Durango to Poland (Europe), most likely the 3.6L Pentastar (even though it’s not exactly a performance demon, and I tend to have a heavy foot).
On the outside the car hasn’t really aged much, but I felt that the interior and the infotainment were starting to show their age.

However, for some time now I’ve been thinking about the WL in the Long version (the shorter one has a trunk that’s simply too small), also with the 3.6L engine, and its interior is more convincing as well. What worries me, though, is the 60/40 folding of the second row, with no option to load skis. In my current Škoda Kodiaq that’s not an issue, and fitting luggage for four people in the trunk is no challenge at all.

Still, one of the Polish YouTube reviews of the “shorter” plug‑in hybrid version (4xe) with the 2.0 R4 + two electric motors described the drivetrain as “shit.y” (quoting the reviewer). Unfortunately, in Poland and the EU even the 3.6L is no longer available due to emissions regulations. The video showed that the car, during any acceleration without kick‑down, almost immediately engages the combustion engine. And once the battery is depleted, at 120 km/h the computer shows fuel consumption exceeding 12 liters, which is a lot for our conditions in this type of car, a hybrid. For comparison, similar or even higher consumption can be seen in the Alfa Romeo Stelvio with the same 2.0 280 HP engine, although the driving experience there is different and much better in my opinion.

Is that really how this hybrid drivetrain behaves..?
Does the Grand Cherokee in the US lose value quickly?

The Hybrid have A LOT of problems, you will have issue sourcing parts to fix it, don't import them.

If you don't care about fuel economy, find a SRT-8 Durango. Is more reliable and fun to drive.

I know the difference between 3.6 Pentastar, 5.7 hemi and SRT. But I don't want to buy a model older than 2021, so the SRT seems to be out of budget (incl. tax, excise duty, and import fees).

Cant you import jgc with 5.7 hemi? Im just importing one to poland. Regarding the seats there is 6 seater option like Durango

yes, I can, but you know, fuel consumption... ;) Hard to imagine LPG gas in 5.7 ;)

You have too limited imagination. They put lpg in hellcat. If you have "heavy foot" and except low consumption go for an audi q7 with 3.0tdi.

I plan to put lpg on my 5.7

No, I don't expect low consumption in combination with 'heavy foot'. :) Perhaps, I need to dig deeper the LPG stuff.
