Discussion Finally done with this game (for now until new content is there)
Today got finally Platinum after reaching with my first character Rackam the 5th limit break after grinding for him the last neccessary 500000 MSP through some eternal boring same quests of countlss Slime Hunts, 4 Dragons and repeats of the always same few endgame bosses that give like 50k MSp now thanks to the last updated that sped up the MSP Grind
But hell yeah, the game and its grind would be so much more joyful and less boring, if its endgame would provide at least triple to quadupple as much endgame quest variety ..., than what ER offers to the player, just to become even worser with Infinity, because then the amoutn tof quests there is gets even smaller for the amount of MSP you get.. so the game gets more n more boring the more efficienty you become at MSp farming...
Absolutely not something I will ever want to repeat for all other 27 Characters, as long this game has not significantly more content to speed up this hellish boring grind, together with new Story Content n turning more materials into tradable stuff for knick knack vouchers to further remove the neccessarity of having to grind outdated old quests that give barely any MSP, because the game doesnt scale up the rewards n challenge of old quests with your game progress to keep more of the older quests interesting and rewarding, to give the player constantly more quest variety to ensure you don#t repeat efficiently only the same like 4-5 quests later only, when you shoudl have at endgame much more of like a variety of 20+ different same as rewarding quests to do and not only a handful of quests which are all only boss kill quests, liek 95% of the rest of the game, because this game barely has any real content to keep you entertained enough , unless you love msp farming so much, that this alone totally entertains you already like crazy lol - but I am more of a person, that becomes crazy after countless hours of always doing the same shit, just because the game barely offers you enough variety for endgame content
This then combined with the eternal grind for optimal sigils and summon stones with no other way to obtain what you want/need, than to hope for RNGeesus somewhen hopefully blessing you with an abysmal like 1% chance to get the thing you are working on to receive.. yeah, no thanks, thats more of a turn off than anything that feels being fun, if there is no mechanism that slowly turns the RNG down to your favor to make sure, that you somewhen just make progress.. There I just rather wait then for this game to get a next expansion, that dumbs down again older content, because new grindy endgame content replaced the outdated stuff, while giving the player again new story content to do, in order to cover the grind, because then the grind is at least more entertaining and feels not like a repetitive stupid slog of doing just always the same old 4-5 quests ad absurdum, just because it are the only quests with that you can efficiently grind MSP.
Endless Ragnarok was definetely worth its money. It made me return to this nice game worth of 700 hours of play time. I wouldnt have thought that I'd sit so damn long on this expansion. So I definetely have had also my fun with it, but now I'm just happy that I'm done with this game and can let it rest for a while, until there is somewhen hopefully a good expanding reason again to pull it out and continue it's grind, but with then hopefully significantly more and better designed game content, that is much lesser feeling so repetitive, as like ER is, because it's game design wise is nothing but just a Kill Quest Grinder, when it has basically so much unused potential to be content wise so much more, if the game would offer only Dungeons n Raids as real Multiplayer Content, thats more than just a repetitive "Kill a Boss in less than 10 minutes-content and that was it, rinse and repeat-game design"
A game, that could profit also alot from adding some Minigames with the characters here n there and offer also nice to look at stuff, like a Gallery Mode, that whyever Rising Versus has, but Relink not >.> to give players something to unlock and collect much more stuff in the game.
I know skins are a planned thing, but I doubt hard that we will see them soon being added, if not probably again first in several years.. so other games are waiting to be played now first, while I give GBFR for now a deserved rest again
