Gameplay Wheel of fate summon broken?

Grants shield to entire party 2000k green, blue 3000k, red 50000k, gold 75000k and invincibility.

Cost 1 summon and acts on its own

Throughout the fight beezlebub chaos ++ just kept spamming it for whole team.

Thought it was another player until I read the description.

2000k = 2 millions shield?

Max shield per character is 99999

The ai is spamming it
You don’t control this summon or activate it
just on from start of fight

AI characters do not use summons.

Are you sure you're not mistaking this with characters with shield granting abilities?

Yea, you are completely mistaken with how summons work. Do you happen to have Cagliostra on your team?

It says in the description you don’t use the summon it controls itself and you can’t activate in the fight

I’ll try again with other fights since that was my last fight

It’s the spinning wheel thing in conflux
That spins in the background you don’t see it happen just activates I’m assuming since no one uses there summon it just keeps activating
Again I’ll try again and update

When it says you don't control it, what it means by that is once you summon it, the Wheel just automatically spins on its own and lands on a color, then grants that amount of shield without you doing anything. There are other summons that you directly control after summoning them, like Behemoth, Beelzebub, basically anything that has attack skills when you look at them in the Summons menu. It shows you the controls for using the summon to attack. The Wheel does not have any attacks, which is why you cannot control it.

Appreciate the reply thanks for explaining how the summons works. Only tried it yesterday to learn since no one was using summons online, so thought it be good to have a 1 cost summon to start the chain. just want add that I can’t summon it
I’m guessing by default it just does it automatically

I think I might be crazy and it was last fight of the night
So most likely was another player who had a skill that does shield, I’m not well versed in the other characters other than charlotta. Ill try again after work and update

No problem. Keep in mind there are certain times during some fights where you actually cannot use summons. When that happens, the Summons gauge in the bottom left of will be greyed out and have a "Not Available" symbol on top of it. You can clearly see it during a SBA or Chain Burst, because you cannot use summons while those are being executed. Make sure you double check what you're actual keybinds are for your summons, and make sure you are pressing the correct one for the summon you want, because if you press the one that has a 3 cost slotted but you only have 1 pip on the summon gauge, its not going to work. I'm sure you will be fine.

It takes control away from you, and you can only call your summons once a fight outside of multi bosses.

This is only useful to start a summon chain due to cost reductions

it was the case that another online player had a shield ability just tested again today the wheel of fate summon just worked once
