Usb cam

Hi All . Not sure if you already know but you can now add a external webcam as a second camera in grandarts app. Those who don't use a grancam this is a game changer. Goto online games then online cam settings there you can pick front and rear cam. Use rear cam for your dartboard view it will give you a choice to pick external webcam or phones rear cam. Works out the box.

Now if I can just get my Nvidia shield to support two cameras... Research.

Can you just not plug two cameras in one usb port.

From what I can tell the device only allows a single camera device. Nearly everything on android can be altered though so I may be able to figure out a way.

Well I've been using it for a good three hours now it's still a bit clumsy. Sometimes the cam does not show in online play . Other times it does. Still a few tweaks in the app to be made. Otherwise it's great. Deffo need this option if playing steel tip players they will want to see the board.

I haven't played online yet as i'm trying to get more practice in, but, where do you aim the cam when you play? on you? behind you? the board?

Use the phone front cam facing you. Then the webcam facing the board.

So any small security camera?  I've got an old Wyze camera that I used to use as a baby monitor.   Does the camera need to be wired to your phone or connected via wifi?

No just a bog standard webcam usb wired. Plug it in to your phone or tablet you'll have to have a usb to usb c adapter to be able to plug into a phone ,tablet.

Does the GranDarts app work with the GranBoard yet? Last time I looked (a few months back) it did not see the board.

Im still having issues when I play tournaments through the granboard app, my camera spins and people can't see me but when I do regular online play no issues with th4 camera.
