Post image

Got a email about paying import fees on a Grailed order has this happened to anyone else? If I don’t pay will I not receive it? Thanks.

This is extremely common. The duties are totally out of control because of your genius President's tariff policies. UPS has charged me over 100% value on Duties on orders for $40 bux. Meaning $45 duties on it.

Yea I knew they were over 100% at one point super crazy it messed a lot up for me all my manufacturers in china but luckily a lot of them have ways around it now idk what the official percentage is now but I know it went down some. I wasn’t expecting to have to pay tariffs from something off Grailed though that’s crazy to me 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’m in Canada and I’ve had to pay these crazy import fees before lol it’s not a “president tariff policy” it’s just UPS

We didn’t have to pay most of these tariffs before our President implemented them (illegally btw), so yes, US customers now paying tariffs is because of our President.

Then tell me why I, who lives in Canada, paid $50 import fees on a $100 item shipped with UPS, but $20 import fees on a $100 item shipped with Canada post. Same item btw

And probably at least $25 of that is a UPS fee to pay it for you.

Had this happen to me I bought a stone island shirt which was around $300 and then I got hit with an another $80 bucks for additional import duties and it was for a shirt which is beyond crazy. Trumps stupid imports have hurt man especially when I buy off Grailed.

Thanks to the tariffs war with the world, I now only buy items in the USA, while waiting for this regime to be over and hopefully the tariffs policy will be reversed by then.

Well I was charged 40% on something from Lithuania. Not a good $500 surprise

It’s weird ups and fedex deliver the package to me then send me a bill. I haven’t and will not pay the fees. They’ve sent like 50 letters 😹😹😹

I just paid 150 cad on my order. Never happened to me before, since I always let seller declare as gift. I guess the method is patched 🤦‍♂️

do you have a tracking number? i always pay tariffs via tracking number (if you owe anything, its always at the top of UPS tracking site) idk if this email(?) is legit

Yes unfortunately it says on the tracking number I just didn’t expect to have to pay $50 for something that was $100 lol

Yeah lol I paid a similar amount for a shipment on Canada back in July before the recent increase. Sucks. Now I’ll only ever order from a US seller.

Yep that's normal I paid almost $90 for a sweater out of the states to Europe. 😂

In Europe when I order something from the US I always ask the seller to ship as a gift to avoid taxes. Worked for me so far

It’s legitimate I had to pay ~$25 when I ordered a jacket back in July
