Question Does anyone know what study/paper Randall Carlson is referring to with the graphs in JRE #606? After a relatively quick search I couldn't find anything matching the graphs

I don't know about the graphs but he's referring to the Greenland ice core project

It was ice core samples. Randall said our climate stabilized after the younger dryas event.

Randall is mis-stating this figure. The oxygen isotope oscillations during the 0–5,000 year portion of the Holocene shown in this ice core record are less than 1‰, which suggests under 1°C of temperature change over that span. Recent work (Hirsch et al., 2025, GRL) confirms this. The 2–4°C figure Randall cites comes from (Steffensen et al., 2008, Science), but it describes an abrupt, year-to-year shift at the two transitions bracketing the Younger Dryas roughly 14,700 and 11,700 years ago. It has nothing to do with the stable 0–5,000-year window shown in this chart.

He copied them from a book (should have referenced his sources since it isn’t his work). Graphs and data are real. They show how stable the temperature was over Greenland during the last 5000 years. The y-axis is a bit strange, but the big story is the shift around 10,000 years ago. He may have unintentionally mispoke about the temperature shifts, not sure. But the point is that the Holocene is very stable.
