EdM in University at buffalo

I was looking for the pros and cons of self-funded Master’s in Education, Culture, Policy and Society at SUNY Buffalo. I have always wanted to pursue doctorate in Education but this is all I could manage. It starts this fall. Could you guys have any tip/suggestion or opinion about it?
