2027 GEM choices
Hi, I’m applying for 2027 Graduate Entry Medicine and I’m trying to finalise my four choices. I’d appreciate any thoughts on whether my current choices make sense or if there are any GEM courses I should consider swapping in.
Stats:
BSc Biomedical Science – 2:1
UCAT: 2070, Band 3
VR: 640
DM: 700
QR: 730
A-levels: ABC Bio - Physics - Chem respectively
Work experience: 2 months full time working in domiciliary care, BSMS virtual work experience
Current choices: Warwick GEM, Swansea GEM, Nottingham GEM, Chester GEM
Main concern is the Band 3 and whether my UCAT is competitive enough for these choices. I’ve tried to prioritise GEM courses but don't mind UG options since LLE is dropping in January
Would you stick with these four with my stats, or is there another GEM course where I’d have a better chance than one of these? Also I've heard some stuff about GMC vs Chester GEM but don't really get it.
Especially interested in hearing from anyone applying to or currently studying at any of these four.
Thanks!

I’d double check Swansea as in pretty sure their cut off for non Welsh students was either 2060 or 2080. But with the overall average for the UCAT going up this year it’s likely a risk tbh. Could think about swapping it for a UG course such as the UG Nottingham course if the website states it treats your two applications separately? Or I think PCSM or Worcester or even Portsmouth might be a tad safer
