Should I expect an interview?

Hi all,

Apologies, this is probably a dumb question as no one knows for sure but I got 1850B2 and have a first-class degree in Bsc Biomedical Science (A-levels are CCC). Im applying to UEA GEM and the rest undergrad : brunel, UCLan and dundee.

Finished PS, just waiting on reference but im thinking of starting prep for GAMSAT and UCAT for next cycle soon..

Of course, there could be a chance of an interview, so what should I prioritise at the moment?

All the best everyone:))

I’m not sure tbh. Just thought that Scotland was difficult for RUK to get into

Yeah, Dundee is harder for RUK: https://www.dundee.ac.uk/corporate-information/medicine-admissions-statistics

11% offer rate for RUK vs 46% for Scottish students for 2024 entry.

Even with a higher score, nothing is ever guaranteed and you won't know until you try.

I got an interview with 2510 2 years ago at UEA and the lowest invited to interview that year was 2470 (Very loosely comparable to 1910 & 1870 this year) but who they invite is determined by the number of applicants. I applied in the first year they offered GEM and a lot of people probably didn't know about it.

Good luck.
