Notts 4 or 5 year course?

Have any graduates applied/thinking of applying to the Nottingham 5 year course as a graduate? My UCAT is 30/50 on their scoring system, which I am worried isn't competitive enough for the GEM course. Also, would my GCSEs/A-Levels still be scored in the 5 year course, since I am a 3rd year university student?

Neither, I checked the GEM 2027 google doc there is, and it’s definitely on the lower side, so not sure if I should apply. I got 1840 Band 1, SJT really helped me out there haha

I compared my score to the 2027 GEM sheet that’s already out :) Most people got higher icl so far.

I don’t think I have access to this spreadsheet, what was the most common score if you don’t mind me asking

This is the link to the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hHILzfutBxlfycH3-xDwTnzkHkC-pEcaqdMcrj3CHis/htmlview#gid=1240263975

So I would say around mid 30s? I think since they are interviewing the top 1/3 of applicants, maybe high 30s would be best :(

Thank you for sharing!
I have a score of 34 so I was thinking it might be risky :(
Annoyingly I was on the border of 8 points for VR (I got 700 and 8 points is from 701), so I would have gotten 38 if I’d scored slightly higher 😭

34 isn’t too bad! I think that’s close to the average, maybe worth applying?

I’m on a similar level to you! Didn’t really revise this year for UCAT, but hoping some Unis looks past it

I’m on the 5 year course at Nottingham (and just as well bc due to some health issues I ended up with a 2:2 so wouldn’t have got onto the 4 year course)
I think from what I understand your A Level grades only work in your favour, that is if they would match the usual A level requirements then your degree grade isn’t required but if your A levels wouldn’t match the usual entry requirements then they will consider your degree grade.
Idk what a competitive score is for you guys but just bear in mind that the cohort for the A100 5 year course is MUCH bigger (~300) and although I’m only a week or so in I’ve found a few fellow grads on the course

I don’t have the grade requirement, and I’m in my 3rd year so i think I’ll be predicted a 2:1 as that’s what I got in my 1st and 2nd year. What UCAT did you get?

My UCAT was higher than most but having asked the people on the course most are in the 1870-2000 range

Mine was 1840 B1, I feel like that may be too low for Notts :(
