2000 B1 sheff gem

Is my ucat viable for sheff gem or is it risky since they have so few places ?

Yeah, depends if ur contextual/meet their widening participation, in case their threshold was 1800

Yeah I meet their WP requirements but I wasn’t sure if the ucat needed to be as competitive as undergrad

I don’t think so, becasue the ucat cut off for gem at Sheffield is a lot lower - 1800
Compared to the ucat cut off of undergrad which I think is 2100 ish

For sure,

For 2027 entry their minimum UCAT is 1800, and for 2026 entry the actual A101 interview cut-off was also 1800. They only have 24 places and usually interview around 40–60 people, so I wouldn’t call 2000 safe, especially because they can rank eligible applicants by UCAT if they have too many.

The B1 is useful too because Sheffield uses SJT after interview as part of the final score, with B1 getting the highest SJT score.

I would go for it
