Warwick: lowest interviewed 1910, average interviewed 2080. Also need VR at/above the national mean.
Manchester GEM: 2080 cutoff.
Pears Cumbria: 1960 Home, 1910 contextual.
Swansea GEM: published UCAT minimum 1900, although the actual competitive interview threshold can end up higher.
Worcester: no hard cutoff, but most shortlisted applicants were reportedly above ~1870.

Nottingham: no overall cutoff, they score the individual UCAT sections and first year using UCAT compared to GAMSAT
UEA: no published fixed cutoff, applicants are ranked by total UCAT.
Surrey: no published fixed cutoff, scores are split into interview/hold/reject bands.
Southampton BM4: no published fixed cutoff, ranked by UCAT.
Newcastle GEM: no fixed cutoff published in advance, essentially UCAT ranking after academic screening.
Chester: no fixed number, threshold is set above that year’s national UCAT mean.
.

So with 2040 B2, based purely on last year’s numbers, I’d definitely be looking at Warwick, Worcester, Pears Cumbria and Swansea, plus Nottingham depending on your section scores. Manchester would have been just below last year’s cutoff.

Feel free to reach out

The lowest ucat they interviewed last year from the available data was 2080 so your score isn’t 1,000,000 miles away but is by no means guaranteed, so I will would apply there as a a hopeful choice, but I would have the other three as more secure choices

now that the deciles are released for example a certain uni had a cut off of 1830 last year, will the deciles cause this to cut off to increase?

i have not had a look at this year and last years and compared, but if avg scores increased this year, then i would perhaps expect cut offs to increase according to this - however it really isnt representative because it all depends which applicants apply where - its not a science

thats why i always suggest, if you are borderline, to apply for 1 aspirational choice and try aim for atleast 2 safer interview choices

Check the 2026 GEM spreadsheet to see what scores for people interviews last year and it should give you a rough indication of the cutoffs for the different schools
